Terms & Conditions – Alpha5 Academy

Alpha5 Academy (“the Tuition Centre”) is dedicated to providing exceptional educational services and ensuring a seamless, enriching experience for all students. This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the non-refundable and non-transferable nature of tuition and material fees.

By enrolling in the Tuition Centre, the student (or their parent/guardian, where applicable) acknowledges, understands, and agrees to abide by the provisions set forth in this policy.

1. Tuition and Course Material Fees

1.1 Tuition and course material fees are to be paid in advance. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, including those paid for the current or future months.

1.2 The Tuition Centre reserves the right to revise tuition and material fees at any time without prior notice.

1.3 Fees must be paid in advance through PayNow, bank transfer, or Scan & Pay options only. Cash payments are not accepted.

1.4 Should a student wish to withdraw from the programme, a notice of at least four (4) lessons must be provided. Failure to give sufficient notice will result in the following month’s fees being charged. As class sizes are intentionally kept small to maximise learning quality, last-minute withdrawals may impact the learning environment of other students.

2. Holidays and Term Breaks

2.1 The Tuition Centre will be closed on all gazetted public holidays. No lessons will be conducted, and no make-up classes or refunds will be provided.

2.2 Lessons will continue during the school holidays (March, June, September, November, and December), with fees charged on a pro-rated basis in accordance with Clause 2.3.

2.3 The Tuition Centre will be closed for two (2) weeks each in June and December. Specific dates will be announced by end-May (for June) and end-November (for December). No lessons will be conducted during this period, and no fees will be charged.

3. Missed Lessons

3.1 No refunds or make-up lessons will be offered for any missed classes, regardless of the reason, including illness, personal matters, or travel.

3.2 Course materials will be provided for any missed lesson upon request, but the associated fees remain non-refundable and non-transferable.

4. Lesson Cancellation by the Tuition Centreissed Lessons

4.1 In the rare event that the Tuition Centre cancels a class due to unforeseen circumstances, a make-up class will be scheduled within one (1) month of the cancellation.

5. Administrative Matters

5.1 Personal information collected during enrolment is used strictly for course administration, communication, surveys, and updates on centre-related activities.

5.2 While the Tuition Centre exercises due care and supervision, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained on our premises or during class activities.

5.3 All course materials remain the intellectual property of Alpha5 Academy. Copying, reproduction, or the resale of materials is strictly prohibited.

5.4 The Tuition Centre reserves the right to dismiss any student whose behaviour disrupts lessons or affects the learning environment.

5.5 The Tuition Centre is not responsible for any loss or theft of personal belongings within its premises.

5.6 Parents/Guardians must promptly inform the Centre of any changes to the student’s contact details or emergency information.

5.7 The Tuition Centre reserves the right to use photographs and video recordings taken during lessons for publicity and marketing purposes. Individual consent will not be sought.

5.8 The Tuition Centre reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. All amendments will take immediate effect upon publication.
